The Yoshi Fighter Catalogue

For the many years MUGEN has been around, people have wanted to find ways to make it sexy. Related to this, a small but prolific (in their respective spaces) group of people wanted to make MUGEN characters eat each other for horny reasons.

One of the most motivated artists of the horny MUGEN scene, Zack, created a character edit from the second version of Mike's Yoshi to reflect his own original Yoshi character, Spike, in 2013. This was met with great applause by all as this concept was but a nascent idea at the time and people were only just figuring out how to make one character appear to fit inside another within the confines of the game.

A bit of context: Veterans of the "Mario" series will know that there is more than one Yoshi. In fact, there is a whole island full of Yoshis! Yoshis exist in all kinds of colors, shapes, and sizes, with a good dozen or so 'canon' designs. Such color variety wasn't necessary for online creatives to generate hundreds and hundreds of original Yoshi characters, but it certainly helped. Yoshi's predilection with wrapping up foes with its tongue and swallowing them was common among its species, a trait shared with relatively few contemporary video game protagonists. As a consequence, many (though not all) fans of Yoshi were also horny for the way Yoshi ate his enemies and conferred this horniness onto their Yoshi OCs. Of note is the fact that Yoshi turns his enemies into eggs after swallowing them, but the intersection of "fetish" with the character has eliminated this endpoint in favor of the normal mammalian digestion in almost all cases. If eggs are present in this kind of fanart, it's usually for some other sexual reason...

Note that this page will not document characters that are "just Yoshi." The aim is to catalogue what others have created beyond the boundaries of the green dinosaur.
