Moompuppy Midnight Snack

*Scrtch. Thump.* Moom rolled over and blinked bleary-eyed in the dark. The scraping sound of drawers opening and closing had drawn her from sleep. *Scrrrtch. Thump.* The sounds continued. Something - someone was in the other room. She sat up and rolled her neck to the sides. "I'm up," she thought. "Might as well have something to eat."

The plush carpet couldn't hope to silence the footsteps of a several-hundred-pound puppy plodding out of the bedroom, but it acted as a good enough dampener that the guest didn't hear her coming until the puppy had grabbed him from behind and put him in a headlock. He was a wiry, short-eared rabbit with silvery grey fur, and could only let out a muffled shriek as he was lifted from the ground. A second rabbit, this one a lop, came thumping into the room once he heard his partner cry out. *So there was more than one. Not much meat on 'em, but they might tide me over until the morning.* Upon seeing what was going on, the second rabbit froze and started to turn tail. He didn't get far before Moom snatched him up by the scruff of the neck and pinned him just like his partner. She sized them up from top to bottom. It felt like she had seen these two before, but couldn't tell from where. The front door was slightly ajar. Did they break in? Moom shrugged - she had seen enough How it's Made to stop caring about where her food comes from.

*Glmph.* The first rabbit's head was already entirely inside Moom's jaws. *Glrpk.* Now his muzzle was traveling down her throat. *Grlk.* The lop-eared rabbit watched his partner disappear into the puppy's stomach shockingly fast. That puppy quickly grabbed him by the ears, which shocked him further - this time physically - and hoisted him into the air, dangling above her maw. With his dark-adjusted eyesight, the lop-ear could see down the cavern of her gullet, with a pair of rabbit paws disappearing into the depths before his eyes… seconds later, he was dropped in feet-first, sinking out of sight in a single *gwlrk*. "You two are barely enough to justify waking up," Moom sighed, "but I might as well stay up 'till you stop kicking so I don't get any more rude awakenings." She hefted her squirming stomach and walked to the front of the apartment. There was a set of keys still in the front door lock… the pieces fit together now. "Not the welcome home you two were expecting?" Her prey bristled, jostling her belly around through the layers of puppy chub and knocking her off-balance. "If you were going to be so hostile about it I wouldn't have even asked. Your fault for coming in without knocking." Moom took the keys and shut the door, locking it again. *Makes it easier to get in and out now, but it might be harder to stick around after this.*

The bunnies were still protesting as Moom walked back to the bedroom, thinking of ways she could get these two to calm down a bit so she could get back to sleep. Their protests weren't audible, thanks to her thick fat, but it was uncomfortable to lie down with something pushing against you all the time.
